The International Association for Geoscience and Remote Sensing (IGARSS 2015) will be held in Milan
nvitationto IGARSS 2015 in Milan
Hostedby the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, the International Geoscienceand Remote Sensing Symposium 2015 (IGARSS 2015) will be held from Sunday July26th through Friday July 31th, 2015 at the Convention Center in Milan, Italy. This is thesame town of the EXPO 2015 exhibition, whose topic is "Feeding the planet:energy for life". The conference main theme highlights the role of remotesensing for assessing, monitoring, and managing risks related to naturaldisasters.
Afteran extensive review process, the technical program includes more than 2100 papers that will be presented in oral andposter sessions organized along the main themes of the conference. Moreover, 15 tutorials on hot topic of geoscience and remotesensing will be given, there will be a richexposition with major industries and agencies working in the field and many othertechnicaland social events (which canbe discovered navigating on this web site) will be organized.
Onbehalf of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society and the IGARSSOrganising Committee we invite you to participate to IGARSS 2015, the world'spremier symposium on the subject of remote sensing. We look forward to meetingyou and talking to you in Milan during IGARSS 2015.

Technicalprogramme
IGARSSis a premier event in remote sensing and provides an ideal forum for obtainingup-to-date information about the latest developments, exchanging ideas,identifying future trends, and making networking with the internationalgeoscience and remote sensing community.
The IGARSS 2015technical program will include the following themes:
lData Analysis Methods;
lAtmosphere;
lCryosphere;
lOceans;
lLand;
lMissions, Sensors and Calibration;
lData Management and Education.
In addition specialscientific themes (related to both the IGARSS 2015 main theme and the EXPO 2015exhibition) will be addressed, including:
lMonitoring natural disasters (subsidence, landslides, floods, fires, etc.);
lExposure and hazard mapping;
lEmergency response;
lDamage mapping;
lFood security;
lGlobal crop monitoring.
